Posing App App Reviews

Hardly any poses! Rip-off!!!

Screen shots indicate several categories of poses but the app only has one category, weddings, and only a few in that category. Total misrepresentation. I want my money back!

Nice

Thank you .. Very nice app.

Good App to take on a shoot

I took my iPad out on a paid shoot for a family of three over Labor Day weekend with this app in hand. It came in really handy in giving the family ideas on how to pose. I like the fact that it uses line-drawings instead of models, so my clients didnt get intimidated or distracted by the looks of the models.

Nope.

Paid for an app. Now I get to buy the content? I dont think so.

Great for Photogs!

This is a great app if you ever find yourself with a creative block on photo shoots! The sketches are basic, but well done. I did purchase the Glamour addition, but I feel the name is misleading. It should be named something different, such as Boudoir posing in my opinion. But nonetheless a great addition. Well done. :)

Lifesaver-awesome app!

Posing is one of the aspects of photography that I struggle most with. Ive written down poses and printed out photos for ideas and reference but still seem to forget them or have trouble conveying to my subjects how to look. When I found this it was like a godsend. No more crumpled papers in my pockets with posing ideas on them. Those who are saying there isnt enough...are you kidding me? I found there to be plenty of various poses for each category especially women. its very easily laid out and the ability to pick and choose favorites is great. Well worth a few bucks...

Great Guide

Decent variety of poses.

No iPhone 5 support

Its time, dear Developer.

Great app, more useful than apps with images

This is a really comprehensive set of poses for just about any portrait situation. All of the poses are well illustrated, generally with some interesting commentary on each pose. I prefer this to image based posing apps, as the more abstract nature of the poses being sketched allows you to imagine your model in that pose without distraction. There is also a set of boudoir poses as an in-app purchase for just a few dollars more, which is very useful for shooting partially clothed or nude models.

Great app!

Very helpful app, has enough pose samples to get the creativity going. One suggestion for the developer, if you could add a check off system for favorites with a clear all button? While being in the field, It would be nice to see which poses you have done already. Thanks, great job on the app!

Great help

Nicely done, illustrations are very clear and explanatory text shows you why each pose works. I especially liked the tips section that gives general advice on photographing people. One feature request: allow tips to be marked as favorites too.

Wonderful

This is the first app that I felt compelled to write a review. Of all the posing apps, and I have several, this is the best value. Well done. Simply better than the apps that I paid up to $10 for. Easy to use with models at all skill levels.

Wow

I have been seeking the minimalist explanation to every pose and tip known in the camera industry and this is it. The drawings make it so there are no actual picture distractions while giving the freedom to draw extra notation on the body itself. Simple story here. This is not someone trying to sell their own pictures for profit, by calling it a learning guide. This is someone actually sharing the tips of photography that I needed to know. I have one complaint. There is a huge amount of poses. More then my iPhone really can properly see. I want to buy this app in book form.

Nice... Could use one improvement to put this over the top...

Still needs a way to catagorize favorite poses. When Im shooting a wedding, i dont want to sort through ALL of my favorites.... Just my fav wedding poses... 5 stars if that can be added. For now... Only 3....

I saw this and was like, Eh, $3, Ill consider it. Later, I see it free and was like I NEEEEEED THIS. This is really helpful for drawing as well, not just posing for photography.

Cool app

Its not a must have app if i gotta pay $3 but lucky that I got it for free. Now I can have more ideas on how to pose for pictures or help people posing. Some tips & tricks are interesting too. Thanks a lot!

Nice set

Nice set of poses. Clean and plain.

These are free online

Nice poses, but I already had them, I downloaded them for free online... they arent worth the $3 ... very disappointed, I just paid $3 for nothing.6

Expensive for an app with just photos

This app is NOT worth the $3 as it only contains simple drawings. You can download a game with complicated tasks an animations well worth over 20$ but only selling for 2$. PLUS this app wants you to buy an additional 59 photos to unlock the modeling photos. This is ridiculous.

Even more poses!

What can I say - the app gets updated regularly with more and more poses. Super useful - would pay twice the asking price.
